What's NEW at Camp
Ohio?
Through
the effort of Russ Cahill, Camp Ohio Board Member, Ken Lafontaine, Extension
Educator, Doug Clark, Facility Manager and Don Spar, a volunteer from Hardin
County, a new set of steps leading from the Nurse’s Station to the path
in front of the dining hall were constructed in early April. The new steps are
constructed of pre-formed concrete pieces and replace the wooden posts that
had begun to fall apart. The concrete pieces were donated by Brim’s Imports
of Kenton. The only cost for the project was for the limestone used to fill
in between the new steps. The steps are a wonderful addition and should last
for many years to come.
